eldec Induction USA is founded. The Michigan site markets all eldec products, assembles generators and provides all sales and services to the American markets.

Delivery of the first high-frequency and medium-frequency IGBT generators developed by eldec. Eldec devices, continuously enhanced, well known for reliability, quality and high power density, remain the benchmark in the industry today.

Schwenk GmbH Induktorbau is founded by Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Schwenk.
