EMAG eldec has about 200 employees at its Dornstetten site.

2017

EMAG eldec has global revenues of almost €30 million.

2016

Introduction of the MIND-M plus hardening machine product line.

EMAG eldec completes the ECOLINE generator series with a new table housing.

EMAG eldec completes the PICO series of generators with the presentation of the PICO-L.

2015

EMAG eldec introduces the VLC-IH hardening machine series, based on the EMAG VLC series.

2014

EMAG eldec introduces the PICO-S generator product line.

EMAG eldec expands the CUSTOM-LINE generator product line with the DF and LF series.

2013

eldec becomes part of the EMAG Group.

EMAG supplies manufacturing systems for precision metal parts. The company employs about 3000 people worldwide

2012

Presentation of the  MICO-S.

The MICO product family is complete.

 

2011

Introduction of the MIND-M product line.

Expansion of production and assembly facilities in the U.S.; construction of a new building in Dornstetten with an additional 2000 m² of production and assembly space.

eldec has a turnover of approx. €19 million with 135 employees worldwide.

2010

Introduction of the MIND-S product line.

2009

eldec opens a sales and service office in China.

Introduction of the MICO product line.

Introduction of the world's first pick-up hardening machine, the VL-H.

Delivery of the first eldec pole coil brazing system.

2008

Introduction of the MIND hardening machine series.

2007

eldec has a turnover of approx. €12 million with 90 employees worldwide.

2006

Completion of a unique test hardening plant with a 3000 kW SDF® generator.

2004

eldec has a turnover of €11 million at two locations.

2000

Delivery of the first SDF® generators. A patented technology which is primarily used for induction surface hardening of gears with high contour accuracy.

1998

Foundation of eldec Induction USA. This location markets all eldec products, assembles generators, and provides all services in the American markets.

1993

The product range grows: eldec develops and supplies the first HF and MF generators with IGBT semi-conductor transistors. These devices and their successor generations are still unmatched in terms of reliability and power density.

1982

Founded by Dipl. Ing. Wolfgang Schwenk.

eldec develops and manufactures inductors.
