All-in-One: compact, complete hardening machine for workpieces in medium production runs
The MIND-S 250 is a compact, fully integrated hardening machine for the induction hardening of workpieces up to 250 mm in length. The cooling system, power source, machine control cabinet and process cell are integrated in a space-saving manner on a single machine frame, thus ensuring maximum productivity in the tightest of spaces, whilst keeping investment costs comparatively low.
Induction hardening tasks – including serial induction tempering where required – with a maximum power requirement of 50 kW HF or 100 kW MF can be carried out using the MIND-S 250.
The MIND-S 250 is equipped with Y and Z NC axes for positioning the inductor relative to the workpiece, a main spindle drive for workpiece rotation, a temperature- and flow-controlled spray nozzle for the quenching medium, and a fully-fledged Siemens SINUMERIK ONE CNC control system.
The MIND-S 250 is available as a single- or twin-spindle machine or in a turret version. Thanks to the loading module, the system can be loaded either manually or automatically.
