eldec Schwenk Induction GmbH, Dornstetten in Germany and eldec LLC, Auburn Hills, USA, since February 1, 2013 are member of EMAG group in Salach, Germany. For the manufacturer of machining systems for metal components with approx. 2000 employees worldwide and approx. 500 million euro turnover eldec is a perfect addition in terms of product range: technologically eldec perfectly supplements EMAG group along the process chain for manufacturing e. g. passenger car steering or driveline components: EMAG supplies turning, hobbing, grinding and laser welding machines, eldec supplies the necessary induction hardening machines.
For the eldec specialists the global EMAG sales and service network access is accelerated to various international markets, in some regions access is possible for the first time. “By being member in the EMAG group we can continue our already started growth more strong, we can develop our headquarters in Dornstetten continuously and we can strengthen our global presence in favor of our customers. Today with approx. 150 employees eldec Schwenk Induction GmbH develops, sells and produces energy sources and turnkey systems for industrial induction heating of power plant, aerospace and automotive components.
